Ambassador Baptist Academy is a ministry of the Gospel Light Baptist Church of Malvern, Arkansas.

Our school was started in August of 2005.

We use the A Beka curriculum. We are part of the Master DVD program that the A Beka curriculum provides, however we provide many traditional classes as well. For more detailed information on the classes and teachers, please refer to the class schedule. Accreditation is available for every enrolled student.

Ambassador Baptist Academy is currently pursuing accreditation through Cognia.

Outside Scholarships are available through LEARNS and ACE scholarship programs – please contact school office for more information. Internal scholarships are also available and listed on Financial Tuition and Curriculum sheet.

Enrollment process

Fill out the enclosed forms in the application packet.

Set up an appointment with the administrator (Aaron Tipton) by contacting our church and school secretary (Teresa Horton) at 501-337-4548.

Complete placement test for the grade level in which your child would be enrolling.

Pay registration fee ($100).

Monday through Thursday 8:00 am – 3:30 pm

No school on Fridays

Sports Program
-
We offer volleyball for girls and basketball for boys in grades 4th – 12th.

There is a one- time association fee each year of $100 for every student in these grades to participate in our sports program and in the annual fine arts event.

Practices are typically after school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the sports season.

We are a Christian school so there are a few things that separate us from a typical public school.

Every enrolled child will have a Bible class each year.

Our curriculum is Bible based.

We conduct a weekly chapel service.

We have a no-bullying policy in our school. We expect our students to maintain a Christian attitude and spirit toward every staff member and student.

We offer free piano lessons to every enrolled student at Ambassador Baptist Academy for 3rd through 12th grades.

After school care is available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday for an additional charge.

The structure of the classes are as follows:

Elementary
-
Kindergarten through 2nd grade will be taught fully traditional.

3rd – 6th grade will be taught Math and English traditionally with all other subjects taught through the A Beka DVD program.

Junior High School

7th – 8th grade will be taught Math and English traditionally with all other subjects taught through the A Beka DVD program.

High School

9th – 12th grade will be taught Math, English, Bible and Science traditionally with all other subjects taught through the A Beka DVD program.
